new baby

frank sent this sweet little thing in the mail! it arrived at my school yesterday, and the 5-year-olds and I made a great project of guessing what it could be, opening it, talking about it, playing it and playing with bubble wrap. (i'll let you guess which of those things they most enjoyed...) am playing my first song on her today, for the kids and parents at the school winter faire. so fun to have a new project! and such sweet, pretty tones. :o)
